Profile

Folded Textile Artist
Pietro Seminelli
Based in France, the artist specializes in folded textiles and innovative textile expressions.
After studying woodworking and furniture design, the artist pursued applied arts driven by an interest in stage design and costume creation. Through the act of folding fabric, the artist developed a unique approach that transforms two-dimensional textiles into sculptural forms.
Through precisely crafted pleats, the work brings light, depth, and movement to fabric, exploring new possibilities at the intersection of craft, design, and contemporary art.
Known for extending haute couture folding techniques into interior design and spatial decoration, the artist creates textile works that redefine the relationship between material and space.
